We are seeing the same thing while looking for houses in the semi-hinterlands.  Prices are through the roof.  Most of the properties for sale are less than stellar in upkeep and maintenance.  We are competing with insane overbidding fools.  Like 20% over asking insane.  For a house that needs remodeled, on a 2 to 4 acre lawn.  Not forest, not farmed.  LAWN
